In order to sell a property, the owner/seller must have a Digital ID and the homeowner's document folder to hand to the Public Notary when an offer from a buyer is accepted and the sales contract starts.
The EBID is a relatively new legal requirement that causes much panic and hand-wringing with Greek sellers who fell victim to the old, lackadaisical way of doing things in the past. Don't panic.
